11 Year 7 pupils were selected to compete in the Greater Manchester Schools Indoor Athletics Competition which took place next to the Etihad Stadium at the Indoor Athletics Centre. Members of the team competed in 60m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Putt and a Relay. 

Notable performances include:

• Cece Iles who received a silver medal for coming in second place.
• Muhannad Ismael was presented with a silver medal, coming in second place too. 
• Esha Kumar came third in her 800m race receiving a bronze medal.
• Will Mackey came fourth in the High Jump. 

Ultimately, the team experienced a fantastic sporting opportunity, where they also walked past BBC Sports Personality of the Year of 2024, Keely Hodgkinson who won Olympic Gold in the 800m.
