Stretford Grammar School proudly hosted its A Level Awards Evening, celebrating the remarkable accomplishments of the Class of 2024. The cohort of 68 students achieved exceptional results in their summer examinations, a testament to their hard work, resilience, and dedication.

This year’s results were truly outstanding, with 47% of grades awarded at A*/A and an impressive 86% of all grades at A*/C. These achievements reflect the students' commitment to academic excellence and the unwavering support of their teachers and families. The students should be immensely proud of their successes, which have paved the way for exciting futures.

Many of these high-achieving students have secured places at prestigious universities, including those in the Russell Group, where they are pursuing a wide range of disciplines. Their accomplishments are a source of immense pride for the school community.

Mr. Marshall, Director of Sixth Form, expressed his delight at reconnecting with the year group during the evening. “It’s wonderful to see how well our former students are doing,” he remarked. “Their achievements are a reflection of their dedication and the strong foundations they built during their time at Stretford Grammar.”

Headteacher Mr. Mullins also praised the students, highlighting their efforts in achieving such remarkable results.
