Demonstrating the ambition of our students, over 40 students drawn from Y11, 12 and 13 attended a talk delivered by Dr Drew Tarmey, Director of Admissions for Manchester Medical School.

Dr Tarmey outlined how students should prepare for an application to study Medicine, focussing on the required qualifications, work experience and the personal qualities needed in this challenging and rewarding career. The session closed with a discussion about a current ethical issue with many students keen to give their views and consider the opinions of the rest of the group.
