Safe Drive Stay Alive
Tuesday 5th November – Year 12 students attended Middleton Arena to attend an important presentation.
Safe Drive Stay Alive is a road safety initiative which brings 5,000 young people from across the region face-to-face with the consequences of a road traffic collision. The project uses real experiences of young people, and also those involved in the aftermath of these terrible events, including emergency service staff and family members of those lost in collisions, to tell their own personal stories of tragedy and loss. Together, we want to reduce the number of young lives being lost or ruined on our roads. As students begin to embark on driving lessons, an important reminder of the responsibilities of all road users to road safety.
