A Level joy for students
Well done to all our students who achieved, collectively, the best set of results in the last 15 years.
This reflected the hard work of students and staff and the continued support of parents and carers. With some superb results, the majority of our students have gained offers from Russell Group Universities, the top Universities in the country. With 47% of all grades at A*/A and 74% of grades at A*/B, the students should be incredibly proud of their achievements. An impressive 31% of students achieved all A*/A grades in their subjects.
A special mention to Rami, Shameena, Saoirse, Eloise, Hufsa and Armin for achieving A* grades in all of their subjects.
Headteacher, Mr Mullins stated, ‘I am delighted to see that our students have gained the results that will enable them to go on to study their chosen courses in further education. During the last two years it has been a pleasure to be a part of their journey as they have developed the determination, resiliency and the skill set to achieve these results. It must be noted that behind these excellent headline figures there are real stories of endeavour and hard work on the part of our students. However, a huge thank you must go to the Curriculum Leaders who have expertly prepared their areas for the delivery of these new qualifications, the teaching staff who have taught them with great enthusiasm and creativity, the pastoral team who skilfully guided them in times of adversity and the unrelenting support of parent and carers. I am delighted to note that, as a consequence, our students are better placed than most to embark on the next stage of their academic careers and I look forward to hearing of their future successes – a huge well done to all’.
