Our Year 11 cohort completed all sections of the Duke of Edinburgh award at Bronze level and picked up their certificates during one of their last assemblies before embarking on GCSE examinations. The cohort started the award whilst in year 10 and fitting in their studies and extracurricular activities as well as completing the sections of the award has been a challenge that many have risen to. 

The expedition section took place during a changeable March in 2023 and, together with another cohort, the number on expedition was a mammoth 173 participants! This group of students has shown real resilience and determination and we hope that this success is a precursor to their GCSE results this August.
