A trip to Ashton on Mersey last week for a pre-tournament friendly quickly became a tough test against the Trafford School favourites.

The girls responded well to an initial flurry of points with a few decent points from jump shots by Gabriella Frangou and Harneet Kaur. Good work at point guard from Eliza Khan and good rebound percentage from Faria Zaidi were both positives in the game.

Good play from Darcey Robinson and Hibah Khan kept the game alive until the second period when Ashton increased their lead. Final score was 21-7.
