YEAR 8/9 BASKETBALL V WELLACRE

Year 8/9 continued their winning start to the Basketball season with a 56-10 win over Wellacre.  Most points came from Nathan Tan, Fionn Heaney and Kamaraan Azeemi.  Outstanding attacking performances came from Shogo Homei-Timmeremann and Amr Abdulgawad.  Man of the Match for his passing, shooting and defending went to Reuben Illunga.

YEAR 10/11 BASKETBALL V WELLACRE

Year 10/11 also travelled to Wellacre for their second game of the season.  With only one Year 11 player due to exams, and only 5 in total, the team produced an excellent display to win 34-9.  Jack Styczen-O’Keefe was the top scorer with some excellent performances from Joe Mannion, Kayo Adebayo and Miles Moby.  Man of the Match went to Evan Lewis, playing his first game of the season.

YEAR 10/11 BASKETBALL V STRETFORD HIGH

Year 10/11 maintained their winning start to the season with a 34-27 victory at home to Stretford High.  The game was of a very high standard and entertaining to watch.  Jack Styczen-O’Keefe was again the top scorer, but it was a brilliant team performance from all involved.  In defence, Kayo Adebayo was outstanding, but Man of the Match went to Miles Moby for an excellent performance in defence and attack.
