Captained by Isabel Lee, travelled to Flixton for their first fixture of the season.The first game against the home team started well with a close first half ending 8-5 to Flixton. The second half however saw a surge from the opposition with the final score ending 16-5. Stand-out performances came from Ava Borrsdaile-Falp (who stepped in at goal attack at the last minute due to illness) and Hannah Cook who played an outstanding game as wing Attack and centre.

The second game against BTH was a much closer game. The first half ended 1-0 to BTH, with Amber Cowgill and Kumbutso Kamwendo working tirelessly in defence. With everything to play for in the second half, the Stretford Grammar team played some fabulous netball and brought the score up to 1-1. The game unfortunately ended 5-1 to BTH but the team worked to the final whistle and never stopped pushing.
