Stretford Grammar's Generosity Shines for Francis House Charity

Generosity of Spirit Shines Through

Stretford Grammar School has once again demonstrated its strong community spirit through its annual fundraising efforts in support of Francis House Children’s Hospice. Led by Mrs. Townsend, Admissions Officer, this cherished tradition brings students and staff together to support a vital cause.

This year’s event saw an incredible 450 chocolate egg chicks sold, alongside a fantastic raffle, with the school hoping to raise in the region of £1,200! The highlight of the raffle was the grand Easter Hamper, proudly won by Muhammed, who was thrilled with his prize. Having generously contributed £10 in raffle tickets, he was a well-deserved winner!

Francis House Children’s Hospice provides essential care and support for children and young people with life-limiting conditions, offering respite, homecare, and emotional support for families during the most challenging times. The funds raised by Stretford Grammar will help the charity continue its invaluable work, bringing comfort and assistance to those who need it most.

A huge thank you goes to all students, staff, and families who contributed so generously to this fantastic cause. Your kindness and enthusiasm make a real difference, and we look forward to continuing this wonderful tradition next year!
