Stretford Grammar School marked a significant milestone for its Year 11 students with the much-anticipated Mock Results Day. Held in a spirit of encouragement and reflection, the event showcased the hard work and dedication of students, staff, and parents alike.

The mock examinations, which spanned an intensive two-week period, provided students with invaluable experience, simulating the conditions of their final GCSE exams. The results were a testament to the students' efforts, with many achieving top grades of 7, 8, and 9 across a range of subjects. These outstanding outcomes reflect both the students’ determination and the high standards upheld by the school.

For some students, their results can be seen as an opportunity to take stock, reflect and recharge. Our school is a supportive place and the final results in August will demonstrate that hard work pays off.

Mr. Crowley, Year 11 Progress Leader, expressed his pride in the students’ accomplishments, stating: “These results are a reflection of the hard work and commitment shown by our Year 11 students. It’s also a credit to the tireless efforts of our curriculum leaders and teaching staff, who have prepared our students so well for these exams. We are confident that this experience will help pave the way for even greater success in the GCSE examinations next year.”

The mock exams were not only an opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge but also to identify areas for improvement. With the support of their teachers and tailored revision plans, students are now better equipped to focus their efforts in the lead-up to the GCSE examinations in 2025.
