Stretford Grammar School has been working closely with Victoria Park Juniors to support and inspire the next generation of students. As part of this initiative, 15 enthusiastic Year 5 students recently completed a 10-week series of Masterclasses in English and Maths, designed to boost their confidence ahead of the entrance exam and strengthen links with local primary schools.

The Masterclasses, delivered by Mrs. Baker (English) and Mrs. Ezzy (Maths), provided students with engaging and challenging learning experiences, helping to enhance their skills and prepare them for future academic success. The program culminated in a celebration assembly, where proud parents watched as their children received well-earned certificates for their hard work and dedication.

One parent expressed their gratitude for the program, stating: "This has been such a fantastic opportunity for my child. Their confidence in both subjects has grown immensely, and they’ve truly enjoyed every session."

A participating student shared their excitement: "I loved coming to Stretford Grammar for the Masterclasses. The lessons were fun, and I feel much more prepared for the entrance exam now!"

Mr. Price praised the Year 5 students for their eagerness and commitment throughout the sessions and extended his thanks to the parents for their continuous support.

Looking ahead, Stretford Grammar School remains committed to expanding its outreach efforts. Plans are already in place to deliver Application Roadshows in the near future, ensuring that even more young learners have access to valuable guidance and support as they prepare for their next educational steps.
